Lieutenant General (Retired) Thakur Mandhata Singh of Kalwar is a highly decorated and revered figure in the Indian Armed Forces, whose life has been defined by unwavering patriotism, strategic brilliance, and commitment to national service. Early Life & Education
Lt. Gen. Singh began his academic journey at St. Xavier's School, Jaipur, and later made history as the first-ever student (Roll No. 1) of the prestigious Sainik School, Chittorgarh — an institution renowned for shaping future leaders of India's defense forces. His leadership potential was evident early on, leading him to join the National Defence Academy (NDA) in 1965, one of the most elite military training institutions in the world.
